Meet our new Project Manager, David Price

We are excited to welcome David Price to Reaume Richardson as a Project Manager. David has over 30 years of construction experience throughout California, is a licensed contractor as well as a licensed real estate agent. His project experience is expansive, including new residential construction, ground-up commercial and industrial, adaptive reuse, and tenant improvement working for high expectation clients including Creative Artist Agency, Lufthansa Airlines, and Disney. That said, what we’d really like to know is; what make and model is that muscle car!

What attracted you to Reaume Richardson?

Reaume Richardson is a creative, progressive, and results-driven company with a proven track record of exceeding expectations. Challenging projects and quality people.

How did you end up here today?

I started as a laborer, then I got my RE license and BS in Business, did commercial brokerage, and then got my GC license and developed RE in Coachella Valley. I started project management in 1994 and have built Residential, Retail, Commercial, Mixed-use, Office -TI, Core, Shell & CapX, Institutional, Hospitality, and Laboratory from the ground up.

Do you have a favorite project you have worked on to date?

My favorite project was the Customs and Border Protection Lab for DHS at the Long Beach Airport. They were a high-value, high-expectations client, and the project involved heavy, diverse mechanical systems.  An interesting and challenging project.

What has been your most challenging/memorable project?

The biggest work challenge I have faced was working with SCE service planner on switchgear and service upgrades for the C&BP Lab (noted above). These upgrades were critical for mechanical system commissioning and schedule compliance.

My most memorable project was the 51-acre shopping center, Gateway Towne Center in Compton, CA. It was a large, new retail center anchored by Home Depot and Target including 24HR Fitness, Staples, and Best Buy. A fun, beautiful retail project.

What are your hobbies and passions outside of work?

I enjoy classic cooking, wrenching on cars, and exploring new places and experiences.

What was your favorite childhood song and film/show?

Favorite Group: The Doors

Favorite Movie: Dances with Wolves

Favorite Musical: Phantom of the Opera (Original Production)

If you weren’t at the office right now, what would you be doing?

Enjoying family, driving/wrenching on my classic muscle car.

Anything else you want to share about yourself?

My brothers and I are 3rd generation citrus growers, growing oranges outside of Visalia, CA.
