Originally constructed in 1912, the Rowan building was a two-year adaptive reuse project to reinvent the historically listed building in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles’ Old Bank District. All 206 units were renovated along with a major seismic upgrade, a new exterior exit stair installed, and a complete refurbishment of the building's historical features that including over 1300 windows.
