The Hotel El Dorado, originally named the Hotel Stowell, is a historically listed building originally constructed in 1913.
Reaume Richardson restored and renovated the building’s 66 lofts and ground floor commercial space alongside Rockefeller Kempel Architects. In addition to the meticulous restoration of historical details such as the ornate hand railings in the entry hall, the Hotel El Dorado blade sign and green brick façade, the building required a significant seismic upgrade, 66 new exterior balconies and mechanical upgrades to accept the new residential units.
